Next week, mobile marketing analytics platform TUNE will be hosting Postback, a mobile marketing event. This year, the focus is to educate attendees on the value of a diverse workforce and solicited donation on behalf of their local partners. As an aim to cultivate more women leaders in technology, the Seattle startup has partnered with nonprofit Seattle Women in Technology (WiT) for this event.

“We wanted to do our part to empower the organizations who train and encourage the next generation of tech professionals. No matter the statistic you pick (the most shocking have men holding 92% of software development roles), there’s an extreme imbalance. Research has shown that women who code feel more empowered by their jobs and develop problem-solving skills, a quality TUNE, as a startup and industry disruptor, greatly values.”

The TUNE WiT partnership has raised a total of $85,000 that will benefit AAUW Tech Trek and Ada Developers Academy, both WiT partners, and the University of Washington Computer Science and Engineering’s DawgBytes summer camp program. 100% of the donations will go towards these three local organizations that are helping young girls explore and pursue computer science education and careers.

The 17 donors, who are also all Postback attendees include: AppLovin, AdAction Interactive, ActionX, appxpand by Crobo, Cheetah Ad Platform, Redapt, The Garage by Rubicon Project, and Twitter.
